I recently accepted a mid-level interactive/digital design position at Design Kitchen. I will mainly be working with HP, which is pretty exciting. HP/Design Kitchen does some really nice work and there is huge potential to do some really cool stuff. I’m really excited and looking forward to this next stage in my career. Keep a look out for some exciting new work hitting the site soon.

I just got a sample of a book I designed for Columbia College Chicago Press. There are some pretty fancy spot varnish and metallic bits on there. Look for a real update once I get some photos taken.

Vincent Laforete
I saw Vincent speak tonight at the Lincoln Park Apple Store. It was insanely inspiration and kind of makes me want to quit my job and start making movies again. He is one of those guys that has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time that it does’t seem fair. One a side note, I was really hoping he would show off the C300 or give us a hint at the 5D MKIII release date… no go.

Updates
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. This have been really busy which has been good. I’ve been working on a bunch of new freelance projects as well as finishing up a couple of photo shoots with Shutter+Awe. I will try to post new projects/ updates as often as possible. Stay tuned!

New Website
Welcome to the new website. Everything is pretty much up and running, with the exception of a few things that will get worked out shortly. There will also be some fair bit of reorganization and addition of new projects over the next few weeks. There is a lot of old stuff still on the site that needs to be taken down or moved to an archive or something (I haven’t really figure out the best option). Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for updates and check back soon.
